DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Read Aloud of Just The Way I Am\, part of the Sam the Schoolbus series\, by local author Karin LaScola on Sunday\, February 8th from 11AM to noon! \nWe’ll be offering snacks\, a live music performance by Dave Fromer\, and an artistic ambiance to encourage creativity. \nKarin Lascola will take you on a journey featuring Sam\, his new friend Sabrina\, and Gupta the Gecko\, who teach kids about self-acceptance and confidence through Sabrina’s journey of learning to be herself rather than changing for others. \nEarly literacy components like rhyming\, days of the week on a calendar\, and adverbs of time create an encouraging introduction into starting school\, and teaches young ones the value of self acceptance.
