Gather at the Children’s Museum for two days of celebration in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Bring the whole family for festivities that will encourage curiosity, creativity and collaboration!
Saturday, September 30, we’ll be joined by Botanical Bus, hosting an herbal workshop, and an Ireri Ballet Folklorico Petaluma dance performance.
Saturday, October 14, we’ll have live music from Salsa Rosa Orquestra and artist Martin Zuninga will be facilitating a collaborative art project for the community.
On both days, we will have empanadas from Mama Zara Empanadas as well as programming and activities inspired by Hispanic Heritage Month including interactive bilingual storytimes, recreating the Nazca Lines, crafting paper mache Alebrije (Mexican folk-art sculptures), planting traditional crops and much more!
This event is generously sponsored by Redwood Credit Union!
This event is FREE with admission to the Children’s Museum.
