Playful People Productions, a theater education nonprofit in San Jose, opens its 15th Anniversary season with Disney’s Moana JR., based on the hit movie and featuring everyone’s favorite characters. Chosen by the spirit of the ocean, Moana journeys far from her island, meeting monsters and the legendary demigod Maui. After an epic journey of self-discovery and camaraderie, both Moana and Maui learn to harness the power that lies within. With empowering messages of bravery, selflessness, and compassion, Disney’s Moana JR. is sure to bring out the hero within each of us.
