MEET NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED ARTIST Sean Carlson: Born and raised in New York where he has been creating and studying art for his entire life. As a freelance artist Sean is self-taught in a wide variety of traditional mediums, ranging from charcoal, to colored pencils, to acrylic paint, sometimes all on the same piece. Through traveling the comic convention circuit for nearly a decade, his work is owned by some of the most famous names in the industry, including Tom Hiddleston, Oscar Issac, and much of the cast of the animated X-men series, including the voice of Wolverine, Cal Dodd. By keeping a wide array of influences, Sean’s work runs the gamut of many different styles; from photorealism, to expressive, to the entirely abstract, all in order to give the viewer a sense of something they have never seen before. Artist Sean Carlson will be signing all of his purchased artwork and will add original embellishments/highlighs to his purchased prints turning your print into a one-of-a-kind original at no additional charge.

HOW DO I GET MY FREE PRINT? Tag a friend on Instagram or SHARE the event on your Facebook timeline or Instagram pg by July 27th. When you check in at the event, simply use your phone to show us you shared the event & you will be given your choice of a free print. Limit 1 Free Print per individual who shared Event. Artists will not sign free prints. CLICK HERE to share the event on Facebook.
WHAT WILL THE ARTIST DO? Sean Carlson will be signing and adding original hand embellishments/highlights to all of his purchased prints
WHAT DO I GET WITH THE $15 VIP TICKET? Each VIP ticket holder will have the chance to skip the lines & beat the crowd because you’ll get Early Access to the event including the art, artists and voice actors: 30 minutes on Friday and 1 hour Saturday and Sunday before the doors open to the general public + you’ll receive a specialty 12″x16″ premium paper print (valued at $40) plus an additional 9″x12″ print. VIP tickets are good for admission to all 3 days however, only 1 premium print total per VIP ticket. Children under 13 years do not need a VIP ticket.
IS THIS EVENT COMPLETELY FREE? Yes, absolutely no purchase is necessary. $15 VIP ticket is completely optional.

ARE YOU ACCEPTING VENDORS OR ARTISTS FOR THIS EVENT? We are not accepting any vendors for this event. If you are an artist interested in working with us at future events, you may submit examples of your work to john@amazingartexpo.com.
IS THERE ANY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (A.I.) ART AT THIS EVENT? Absolutely NOT! All our art sold on our website and featured at our show was created by human hands and all made in the USA. We do not believe A.I. art is actually art and we stay firm with that decision.
IS PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED? Due to encounters of theft, attempts in converting the art via A.I. and/or unauthorized reproduction (bootlegging) of the artwork, our artists request no photography of the art at the event. Out of respect for the artists, this rule is strictly enforced. Photography of cosplayers and the event itself is allowed and in an effort to share images with friends, all Amazing staff members would be happy to take a photo of the art for you in a manner where it cannot be reproduced so easily – just ask.
HOW MUCH ARE AUTOGRAPHS/PHOTOS WITH THE VOICE ACTORS? For Standard Autographs, David Sobolov charges $40 and David Lodge and Michaela Jill Murphy charge $50. The Standard Autograph guarantees their signature at the event, even if the limited amount of autographs sell out which they typically do. However, you must be present during the dates/times which the voice actor is scheduled (see times below) and you are welcome to attend any or all of the dates. This Standard Autograph price applies to products measuring around 8″x10″ or flats. Your purchase also guarantees you the option to upgrade your signatures and/or add other options such as larger prints, Funkos, swords, statues, quotes/doodles, voice/video recording and selfies. Those prices will be determined at the event itself and you can pay the difference for those upgrades at the voice actor’s table. You may bring to the event your own product(s) to be signed including print(s),Funkos, swords, etc. Please note, this autograph purchase does not include the print itself as prints are sold separately but keep in mind, this is also a pop culture art expo and there will be lots of super cool prints relevant to the voice actors available to purchase at the event. For this reason, we encourage you to take a look at the art show first before getting in line with the voice actors. If you cannot make the event, you are allowed to substitute another person in your place. No refunds will be given for autographs unless the voice actor is not present at the predetermined days/hours. Voice actors David Lodge, Michaela Jill Murphy, David Sobolovll and artist Sean Carlson are scheduled to be at the event Saturday and Sunday 11:00 am to 6 pm (doors will open at 11 am for the VIP Experience attendees and 12 noon to the public).
WHERE DO I PARK? Parking is just $5 at the Doubletree Hotel.
DO I HAVE TO COSPLAY TO ATTEND THE EVENT? No. Cosplaying is completely voluntary.
WHAT ARE THE GUIDELINES FOR THE COSPLAY CONTEST?
All Monsters, princesses, princes, superheroes, Jedi, wizards, witches and even muggles of all ages are encouraged to attend and may be introduced to the crowd with a particular theme song to their costume/character. Cosplayers who meet the following criteria listed below will qualify for the Cosplay Contest.
1st PLACE PRIZE: Receives a $150 Gift Certificate for the Amazing Art Expo.
2nd PLACE PRIZE: Receives a $90 Gift Certificate for the Amazing Art Expo.
3rd PLACE PRIZE: Receives a $70 Gift Certificate.
PROFESSIONAL COSPLAYERS (INFLUENCERS) may qualify to receive a free display table to promote their brand(s) in exchange for coming to and promoting the event. Please email john@amazingartexpo.com for details.
1.) PLEASE REGISTER by emailing john@amazingartexpo.com with your name and character/costume you plan to wear including a photo of your character or your social media/website if possible?
2.) AGE LIMITATIONS: All ages are applicable to win.
3.) COSTUMES must be creative. Simply wearing a hat, shirt, sweatshirt, etc. does not qualify for the competition. Costumes must be at least 50% handmade or more. Costumes should be tasteful and not be deemed offensive. The barest minimum of body coverage would be that of a bikini.
4.) WEAPONS: All operational shooting weapons and/or sharp objects are absolutely forbidden. Non-firing toy weapons are allowed. Act responsibly and use caution when carrying, yielding, displaying large props. Any simulation of props, such as light saber battles, may be allowed if granted permission beforehand by an Amazing Art Expo crew member and if conducted in an open area free of bystanders.
5.) PHOTOS: Cosplayers should volunteer to pose for photos with guests at no charge. Please do so in an open area so you are not blocking aisles or product displays. You are welcome to ask any Amazing Art Expo employee suggestions for such areas.
6.) REQUIRED TIME TO BE PRESENT: Cosplayers must be present and interactive with guests at the event for a minimum of 60 minutes total to qualify.
7.) Contestants may participate all three days but are not eligible to win more than once with the same costume. Members of the 501st Legion are not eligible for the contest.
