Join us for a Read Aloud of Just The Way I Am, part of the Sam the Schoolbus series, by local author Karin LaScola on Sunday, February 8th from 11AM to noon!

We’ll be offering snacks, a live music performance by Dave Fromer, and an artistic ambiance to encourage creativity.

Karin Lascola will take you on a journey featuring Sam, his new friend Sabrina, and Gupta the Gecko, who teach kids about self-acceptance and confidence through Sabrina’s journey of learning to be herself rather than changing for others.

Early literacy components like rhyming, days of the week on a calendar, and adverbs of time create an encouraging introduction into starting school, and teaches young ones the value of self acceptance.
