mushroom foraging – family friendly

December 7 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Event Series (See All)
| $45

want to go on a fun, family-friendly adventure? (recommended age 6 and up – but you know your kiddos best)

Join a mushroom foraging class with Fork in the Path! We will be answering “Can I eat that?” while exploring tree-mushroom relationships, learning about mushroom anatomy for identification, IDing mushrooms, plants and trees, and hunting delicious edibles such as chanterelles, black trumpets, hedgehogs, yellowfoot, candy caps, and more.

Our half-day programs include foraging, community building, tasting, foraging, and land history.

Classes sell out pretty fast so if it’s something you’re excited about don’t wait! Register here: www.forkinthepath.org/classes

p.s. The answer to “can i eat that?” is always “no!” Unless you’re 100% confident on your identification. We will teach you how!
