Outdoor Shabbat Picnic

August 16 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Grab your blankets and a picnic dinner and head on over to Congregation Kol Emeth in Palo Alto for baby and tot Shabbat fun.

Join JBN Director Carol Booth and the Kol Emeth dream team (Sarah, Tyler, Maytal, and Kate) for a rockin’ outdoor baby and tot Shabbat with music, shakers, puppets, dancing, playtime and more! Challah, grape juice, and drinks will be provided.

The suggested donation for this event is $18 to help cover costs. No one is turned away, so please give what you can.

Registration is appreciated but not required. Registration helps us plan and be in touch in case anything changes. You do not need to be a member of any organization to attend this event.

Our programs are designed for families with children aged 0-36 months, but bring the whole family! Grandparents and extended family welcome too. We always have great snacks, fun art supplies, and play spaces for older siblings too. We welcome everyone, including unaffiliated, single and multi-parent, multi-faith, multi-ethnic, multi-abled, and LGBTQ+ families.

JBN Peninsula Sponsors: Congregations Beth Am, Beth Jacob, and Kol Emeth.

JBN Major Funders: The Koret Foundation, Rodan Family Foundation, and Leslie Family Foundation.

Jewish Baby Network is a program of Jewish Family and Children’s Services’ Center for Children and Youth. JFCS supports families from newborn to the elderly. Please visit the JFCS website for more information about all their great programs.
