Calling all basketball fans! The iconic Hoop It Up 3×3 Basketball Tournament is returning on August 11 in Thrive City, the plaza surrounding Chase Center.
Hoop It Up, the popular 3×3 basketball tour established in 1989 and owned by NBA legend Kevin Garnett, will bring the fun to Thrive City with recreational divisions from ages eight to 18+ as well as adult divisions at all levels of competition, including Pro-Am. The tournament consists of a maximum five players per team roster with three players on the court and two optional substitutes. Each participating team is guaranteed at least four games during the tournament, and the first team to get to 21 points wins that game.
The registration fee is $250 per team. Each participant will receive a gift upon checking into the tournament. The Men’s Pro-Am Division winner will also be given the opportunity to try out with the Santa Cruz Warriors, the G-League team of the Golden State Warriors, and receive a $1000 travel voucher to attend the Hoop It Up National Championship.
