Why Can’t We Just Get Along? Effective Communication and Conflict Resolution for Parents

February 27 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

| Free

In our world, the ability to be confident, assertive, and skillful at navigating relationships with people from different backgrounds are essential skills. Parents need to be able to embody and model these skills for their children. But how? In this experiential workshop with expert leaders from the Mosaic Project, parents will learn how to develop exceptional relationships within their families, and how to teach their children to do the same in their own peer groups, with siblings, and at school.

Skills covered will include:

– Staying grounded in respect for yourself and others
– Listening and empathizing effectively across lines of difference
– Assertive communication
– Peaceful conflict resolution
– Participants will learn hands-on tools and practice implementing them in relatable, everyday situations. You will come away feeling empowered to build a healthier, happier family and to support your children through their interpersonal challenges while staying true to themselves.

Space is limited. Coffee and light refreshments will be served. This workshop is for parents only.
