Aspiring ballet dancers ages 9 to 19 from across California will gather at the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) auditions, where the next generation of ballet stars is discovered. Participants compete for scholarships to top dance academies and go on to perform with renowned companies like American Ballet Theatre, Paris Opera Ballet, and New York City Ballet.

The competition, judged by esteemed figures from the ballet world, will take place at the Chorus Hall. YAGP, the world’s largest dance scholarship program, has awarded over $5 million in scholarships in its 25-year history. Auditions run Friday, February 8 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and February 9 from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
