An additional note from Dr. G:
“One silver lining from this pandemic is that moms and families are acting on behalf of the greater good of the community, since their own children don’t seem to be particularly at risk for severe illness or death. Our altruism will have wide-reaching effects in terms of protecting the vulnerable (elderly and immune-compromised), which helps us feel good about our actions amid all of the stress and uncertainty. We are all interconnected and interdependent, and this virus prevents us from ignoring that reality. This is providing an opportunity to heal our divisions.”

Thank you, mamas, for all that you do. Together, we can overcome these challenging times.

Remember, we are all in this together. We are with you.
