Do you decorate your house like the Griswold Family? We don’t, but I do love Christmas lights! And I love that there are a few “Griswold” worthy places on the Peninsula to see some amazing lights.
Check out our top three!

Christmas Tree Lane, Palo Alto
Fulton Street, Between Embarcadero Road & Seale Ave.
Palo Alto, CA 94309
December 15–31 from 5pm-11pm. Use 1705 Fulton in GPS.
This Palo Alto tradition dates back to 1940! It’s best to park on an adjacent street and take a family walk down the lane. If you do decide to drive, neighbors request you to lower your lights and drive very slowly, paying close attention to pedestrians.
Eucalyptus Ave, San Carlos
Eucalyptus Avenue between Orange Ave. and Tamarack Ave.
San Carlos, CA 94070
December 1–25
One of our writers visited this week and said it was already “epic!”
Thousands of people travel down Eucalyptus Avenue each year to see the holiday displays from the blocks 1900 to 2000. Again, it is best to park nearby and walk the avenue if you can given the popularity!
Fantasy of Lights, Los Gatos
Vasona Lake County Park, 333 Blossom Hill Road
Los Gatos, CA 95032
Walk thru: December 1 & 2, 6pm-10pm
Drive thru: December 4 – 30 (Except on Dec. 25th), 6pm-10pm
Experience 1.5miles of holiday lights with your family! You do need to purchase a ticket for each car ($22) for a specific date and time. Check availability here!
True story. Been to all three. My fav… Eucalyptus Ave.
