Today is the last Friday in April, can you believe it?! Summer is only two months away, so we better soak up all the sweetness of spring while we can. There are so many things I love about spring: the produce (asparagus= my favorite vegetable, remember?), the wildflowers, the unpredictable weather, and the evenings that start feeling warmer and lighter. We spent last weekend at the farmers market and the beach, and plan to get outside as much as we can this weekend as well. I hope you have some spring-y plans this weekend (ex: have a spritz, make pasta with fresh peas and asparagus, or eat strawberries with every meal) and really embrace the season!

“Being a feminist and a stay-at-home mom are not mutually exclusive.” Amen.
My son is NOT into hats right now but also hates wearing sunscreen. Typical toddler dilemma. Maybe he just needs an adorable new hat? I also have a slight aversion to hats but feel like it’s time to suck it up and protect my skin. Any women’s hats you love? I want to avoid looking like I’m wearing a disguise…

What better way to embrace the spirit of spring than by drinking spirits? A Strawberry French 75 and a G&T with a twist- this is my kind of list.
I have my eye on these shorts for the warmer days ahead. I feel like the only people in San Francisco who wear shorts are tourists, but I might just be brave and go for it.
